Died, at her residence on East street on Monday evening of consumption
Mrs. Geo. H. Carson, aged forty-five years. Mrs. Carson was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. H, Harney and was born and raised in this city. On March 3rd, 1858 she was married to Mr. M. W. Richardson, with whom she lived happily until September 13th, 1873, when
he died, leaving six children, four boys and two girls. Upon tbe 29th of January, 1878 she married Mr Gaorge H. Carson, who survives her, and to whom was born one child, a boy. She always performed her duties in life wherever she found them and in her girlhood days none was more popular or more sought after than she. In after years
she retained the friendship and esteem of a large circle of friends. The funeral services were held at 10 a. m. on Wednesday at the house after which her remains were laid to rest in South Park Cemetery by the side of her husband and children,
who await her in the better land
