A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 1998, in Portland Memorial Sunset Chapel for Jacob Leo Hayward, who died May 10 at age 26. Jacob was born July 8, 1971, in Portland. He attended Milwaukie and Grant high schools. He had worked for TVBS and Pacific Lumber and also had worked on the Henry Ranch in the La Grande area. Survivors include his son, Tyler; mother, Nancy Broy of Milwaukie; father and stepmother, David and Hannah of Portland; sister, Katy Glover of Texas; and brothers, Nick Broy and Leonard Broy, both of Milwaukie. Private interment will be in Multnomah Cemetery.
