Mrs. Marie ALBER, 68, R.R. 5, Rochester, died at 2:15 a.m. today in Woodlawn hospital, where she was admitted Thursday afternoon. She had been in failing health for six months. Cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage. Born April 21, 1902 in Fulton county, she was the daughter of Frank and Sarah OVERMYER BARNHART. She had resided all her life in Fulton county. She was married April 24, 1920 in Rochester to N. M. "Pete" ALBER, who survives. She was a member of the Tiosa Brethren church and the What-Not Home Extension club. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Marjorie) CAUFFMAN, New Carlisle; six sons, Ramon [ALBER], Warsaw; Addison [ALBER], Tempe, Ariz.; Wayne [ALBER], Bremen; Dick [ALBER], Rochester Larry [ALBER], Dayton, O., and Phillip [ALBER], Fort Wayne; a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Marietta) MARSHALL, Bremen; twenty grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were the parents, a son and a brother. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Tiosa Brethren church with the Revs. Paul RITCHEY and Edgar BERKSHIRE officiating. Burial will be in the Sand Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the Foster & Good funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday until 11:30 a.m. Sunday and at the church for one hour before services.
