They are James C. Loyd and Matilda Jane Williams Lloyd.
Her Grand parents are John Chester Loyd and Mary jane Pulliam, both buried in the Loyd Family Cemetery at Otter Creek, in Ripley Co.

Mrs. Ella Newman Expires Tuesday

Mrs. Ella L. Newman, age 61, widow of Charles Newman, and life-long resident of Rush County, succumbed at the Robert Long hospital in Indiana at 3:50 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. She had been seriously ill since last Friday and she was removed to the hospital on Monday afternoon.

Her death, due to spinal meningitis, is the first to be recorded in Rush County for month.

The deceased, who lived at 427 West Second Street, was born in Rush county October 20, 1876, the daughter of James and Matilda Loyd. She had resided in Rush county all her life and was a member of Mahoning Council No. 36, Pocahontas Lodge.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Charles Levi, Mrs. Mildred Myers, Mrs. Dorothy Miller and Mrs. Mable Becraft; two sons Earl and Dale Newman, all of Rushville; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Sterrett and Mrs. Jane Hobs of Rushville; four brothers, Charles, Rhyne and Taylor Loyd of Rushville and Theodore Loyd of Indianapolis; fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be conducted at the Moster Mortuary this afternoon at three o'clock with the Rev. Gibson Wilson, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiating. Interment will follow in East Hill Cemetery.
