Sheila Yvonne Jackson was born October 20, 1947 and departed this life Saturday, November 12, 2011 reaching the age of 64. She was the daughter of the late Orvin Rue Abbott, Sr. and Ethel Beatrice Bertram.
She was united in marriage to Robert Jackson and to this union 3 children were born.
She is survived by: her children, Rob (Carla) Jackson and Marty (Connie) Jackson, and Vicki Basham all of Monticello, KY; and 8 grandchildren. She is also survived by: 1 brother, Orvin Rue Abbott, Jr. of Monticello, KY; and 3 sisters, Sandra Marlene White of Lexington, KY, Pamela Darlene Bertram of Tucson, AZ, and Donna Arleen Gramling of Nancy, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Orvin and Ethel Abbott, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Jackson.
She was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 4 โ 7 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 7 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Dewey Burks and Bro. Gary Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
