J. H. Crawford

J. H. Crawford, son of the late Capt. J. S. A. Crawford, died August 6 at Erlanger hospital. In 1894 he married Miss Genie Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moore of Hill City. He is survived by his wife and three children, one boy and two girls. Mr. Crawford was 80 years of age and spent the best part of his life in the service of the Southern Express Company. Eighteen years of continuel service proves his worth and the high esteem in which he was held by his employers and fellow workers. He will be sadly missed by his friends and family.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock by Rev. Dr. Bachman and Rev. Bernard Gibbs, of the Hill City M. E. church at the home of his mother, Jrs. J. S. A. Crawford, No. 63 Terrace street, city.

The pall-bearers will be A. C. Carroll, Z. C. Rose, A. McD. Mullings, J. M. Sims, W. A. Dewees, Geore W. Seifers and J. P. Capehart.



Funeral of J. H. Crawford

The funeral services over the remains of J. H. Crawford, who died Sunday at Erlanger hospital will be held this morning at 10 o'clock at the residence of the mother of the deceased, Mrs. J. S. A. Crawford, 6 East Terrace street. Dr. Backman and Rev. Bernard Gibbs will conduct the services. The interment will be at Forest Hills cemetery.

The following will act as pall bearers: A. C. Carroll, Z. C. Rose, A. M. Mullings, J. M. Sims, W. A. Dewees, Geo. Seiters, J. B. Capehart.
