Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Redell Holleyman, 78, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 7, 2010 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Rev. Scott Howell will be officiating. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Chatham, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Holleyman was born August 18, 1931 in Okra, Texas and went to be with the Lord February 5, 2010 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Faith Community Church of the Nazarene and worked many years as a nurses aid at The Oaks Nursing Home and St. Francis Specialty Hospital.

Mrs. Holleyman was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Ann McDonald; 3 sisters; Lily Bell Chambless, Edwina Ward and Lola B. Porter.

Mrs. Holleyman is survived by daughter; Sharon Smith and husband Freddie; grandchildren; Josh and Sara Roberts; Specialist Danielle Roberts, Louisiana National Guard, Christopher and Felisha Roberts; great-grandchildren; Tara Roberts, Alecksis Roberts, Austin Roberts, Shianne Roberts; brother, John Elwin Holleyman; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chris and Josh Roberts, Donny Evans, Paul Chambless, Chad Myers, Caleb Chambless and Jimmy Fletcher.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
