David is my gg grandfather, his birthdate is unknown so far. He was born about 1837.
He was a Civil War veteran, having served in both Company F, 11th Infantry Regiment Illinois and Company G, 36th Infantry Regiment, Illinois the later in which he was wounded at the battle at Pea Ridge Arkansas 7 Mar 1862.
He married Eliza Duckmanton 17 Jan. 1863, in Grundy County, Illinois.
They had 7 daughters, 4 of which at least lived to adulthood.
Ella b. 5 Sep 1863 d. 9 Sep 1945, m. Thomas Birmingham 3 Feb. 1881, Boone Co., Iowa.
Etta b. 28 Feb 1866 d. 18 Aug 1949, m. William Sharp Birmingham (bro of Thomas) 29 May 1884, Logansport, Boone Co., Iowa.
