HERZOG
SKIDMORE - Robert G. Herzog, 92, died at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday in a Beeville hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Galloway and Sons Chapel. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore.
He had resided in Bee County the past six years. He was a retired blacksmith.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Janie Herzog of Skidmore; four sons, Henry, Robert, both of Skidmore, Fritz of Port Lavaca, James of Skidmore; eight daughters, Helen Doubrava of Olmos, Mrs. Ann Ryan of Skidmore, Mamie Hobson of Mathis, Ida Bremer, Frances Brown, both of Skidmore, Lucille Custer of Sinton, Dorothy Rupert of Pennsylvania, Flora Lee Marshall of Florida; two brothers, Ollie Herzog of Kyle, Texas, Albert Herzog of California; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Appelt, Mrs. Bertha Weilbacher, both of San Antonio, Mrs. Freida Yates of Woodsboro, 45 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
