Andrew Wood POOL (1831-1864) was named after his elder half brother Andrew Wood POOL (1824-1829) who had died before his 5th birthday back in Hamilton, Madison Co, New York. This first Andrew Wood POOL had also survived his mother Elizabeth (WOOD) POOL (1792-1828) and he was her youngest son. Elizabeth's widowed husband Ziba POOL (1792-1879) then married second to Lydia Jerusha FULLER on 29d 8m 1830. It was Lydia's first son who was named the second Andrew Wood POOL (1831-1864) in honor of both of his elder half brother and his father's late first wife. When he was about three years old Andrew's father Ziba moved his family west to Troy Twsp, Geauga Co, Ohio.
