OBITUARY - Funeral services for Mr. H George Battenhouse, 63 who resided at 1674 Middle Ridge road were held (Wednesday) afternoon in the Garland FuneralHome. His death Sunday morning followed a heart attack in his home.
Born in Elyria township, Mr. Battenhouse had resided here for 33 years. He was employed the past 25 years in the protection department of the National Tube Division, Lorain Works.
He was a member of the Amherst Congregational Church, Stonington Masonic Lodge Chapter and Stone City Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include his widow, Francis (Richmond). to whom he was married 22 years; one daughter Janet Rae Battenhouse, Washington, D.C.; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Hahn of Grafton and a brother, Raymond R Battenhouse of
