Cindy Hooker, 48, passed away on January 12 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett following a short battle with cancer. She leaves her husband, Randy Hooker, and two sons, Gerald Hooker and Tyler Hooker. She also leaves three brothers, C.E. (Linda) Murphy, Steve (Sheila) Murphy, and Richard (Suzanne) Murphy; mother-in-law, Joann Hooker Zink, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Jean Murphy; a sister, Terry Lynn; and an infant son, Matthew. Cindy was a wife, mother, sister and friend loved by all. She had also worked as a delivery driver in the auto parts business. Visitation will be 5:30-7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14 from and services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 15 at Memphis Funeral Home on North Germantown Parkway. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. the family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
