OWENSBORO, KY - LINDA FAY COOPER, 58, died Tuesday morning at Riverside Manor Nursing Center. Surviving are a son, Tony of Owensboro; her mother, Ida Pate of Owensboro; two sisters, Sandy Huskisson and Violet Fuqua, both of Owensboro; a brother, David Pate of Owensboro; and four grandchildren. Her husband, Sherman, died in 1990. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to service time Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Association.

Linda Fay Cooper, 58, formerly of Lee Manor, Owensboro, died Tuesday, March 31, 1998, at Riverside Manor Nursing Center in Calhoun. She was born in Hancock County and was of the Baptist faith. Her husband, Sherman Cooper, died in 1991. Survivors include a son, Tony Cooper of Owensboro; 4 grandchildren; her mother, Ida Pate of Owensboro; a brother, David Pate of Owensboro; and 2 sisters, Sandy Huskisson and Violet Fuqua, both of Owensboro. Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is after noon Thursday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice Association Inc., PO Box 1403, Owensboro, KY 42302-9925. Memorial contribution envelopes are available at the funeral home.
