FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS BARELA TO BE WEDNESDAY
Rosary services will be held at 8 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Mary Barela, 59, who died at her home Saturday in Dona Ana.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at the Catholic Church in Dona Ana with Father Emilio Roure officiating. Burial will be in the Dona Ana Cemetery.
Mrs. Barela was born and lived in Dona Ana all her life.
She is survived by her husband and four sons; Manuel, Jose, Jacob and Ernest all of Dona Ana. Three daughters; Mrs. R.H. Garcia of Las Cruces, Mrs. Arthur Banegas of Norwalk, California, and Mrs. Arthur Reed of Ventura, California. One brother; Frank Barncastle of Los Angeles, 37 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
