Mrs. Brown was taken to the hospital Tuesday but was too weak to undergo an operation and died 24 hours later.
Mrs. Brown had been ill about three weeks. She will be greatly missed in the community in which she lived and was generally esteemed. The bereaved family has the sympathy of a wide circle of friends. In addition to the husband she leaves three small children; one sister, Mrs. Lola Knowlton of near Martinsville; and four brothers, Owen of Sycamore, Ernest of Kokomo, and Clyde and Creath at home.
