Utica - Mrs. Henrietta Dewey Wheelock died Thursday morning, Aug. 15, 1940, at her home, 42 Emerson, after three months illness.
Mrs. Wheelock was born in Leyden, May 29, 1851, daughter of Alonzo A. and Helen Capron Dewey. She moved to Boonville when a child and lived there until 1885.
Her marriage to Herbert M. Wheelock took place there on Jan. 31, 1834, in Boonville. He died in 1908. For the last 10 years she had lived in Utica, She attended the Presbyterian Church.
Her sister, Mrs. Harriet Guillaume, died last March.
Surviving are a brother, Bouton C. Dewey, Utica; three nieces and nephews, Mrs. Helen Griffith Haischer, Syracuse; Miss Ruth Griffith, Utica and Charles D. Wheelock, Summit, NJ. Utica Observer Dispatch, Thursday Evening, August 15, 1940
