RIVERDALE, Utah-Funeral services for Dorcas R. Crowley were Monday, Jan. 6 at the Riverdale 8th Ward Chapel, Riverdale, Utah with Bishop Dean Beus officiating.

Crowley, 76, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 1992 at a nursing home of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 22, 1915 in Randolph, a daughter of William A. and Olive A. Johnston Dunn.

She married James H. Roberts on Aug. 11, 1931 in Laketown, Utah. He died Dec. 6, 1950. She married Byron Crowley on Oct. 4, 1974 in Ogden, Utah. He died April 26, 1987.

She was raised and educated in Montpelier, Idaho and Rock Springs. She had lived in Bountiful, Utah and Hannibal, Mo., returning to Ogden in 1987.

She was a member of the Riverdale 8th LDS Ward. She served in the Missouri Independence Mission with her husband, Byron Crowley, from 1975 to 1977. She served in many various positions in the church and was a visiting teacher for many years.

Mrs. Crowley had worked at D.D.O. and Hill AFB, retiring in 1958.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter, James W. and Joan Roberts, Midvale; John W. and Lorraine Roberts, Lynnwood, Wash.; Wayne J. and Elouise Flitton, Layton; 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are four sisters and one brother, Twila Guymon, Alphratta, Ga.; Melba Thrasher, Green River; Wendell Dunn, Spannoway, Wash.; Elma Martindale, Holliday, Utah; and Marjean Steed, Centerville, Utah.

She was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Roberts, and one brother, West Dunn.
