She was the daughter of George and Flossie Shaw Allen. She was also raised by her dear uncle and aunt, Haston and Bessie Shaw. She is survived by a brother, Ezekial Allen of Meridian, Miss.; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Hagood (Mildred) Allen of the Colston community in Bamberg County. Also surviving are her children, Ralph (Alice) Willis of Barnwell, Danny (Emily) Willis, Sandra (Wayne) Reed and Allyn Willis, all of Lexington. She had six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.
She was a member of St. John's Baptist Church. She was a devoted homemaker, Sunday School teacher, an avid gardener and a talented seamstress.
