Mrs. S. G. Bartlett, aged 59 years, a life-long resident of the city, and daughter of Col. N. O. and Martha Green, died at 4 o'clock this morning at a local sanitarium. She is survived by two brothers, Capt. John F. Green, at present in the Philippine Islands, and N. O. Green of this city. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. Arthur Jones will officiate. Interment will be made in the Confederate cemetery. Those who served as pall bearers were: George Maverick, Jake Locke, Tom B. Johnson, Lee Earnest, Ed Richardson and Michael Mooney.

Mr. Charles Edward Bartlett was marred at 5 o'clock this morning to Miss Sallie Green, daughter of Colonel N. O. Green, of our city. The happy couple left on the train this morning for their future home in Georgia. (The San Antonio Light, San Antonio, Tex, Nov. 27, 1884)
