HAWKINSVILLE, GA - James A. Belflower, Sr., 63, of Hawkinsville, GA died Saturday, December 19, 2009 at his residence. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 2P.M. Monday, December 21, 2009 in Orange Hill Cemetery with Rev. Freddie Rhodes and Rev. Keith Rustin officiating. -Mr. Belflower was a native of Pulaski County and a member of the Baptist faith. He retired from the U.S. Army and the 48th Brigade Georgia National Guard after 24 years of service including Korea and Desert Storm. He retired from Blue Bird Body Company after 35 years of service. -Survivors include his wife, Loretta B. Belflower of Hawkinsville, GA; son, James Albert (Connie) Belflower, Jr. of Eastman, GA; daughter, Carmen (Ken) Youngblood of Cochran, GA; brother, Charles (Terri) Belflower of Lawton Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Kelly Belflower, Lauren Belflower, Kyle Youngblood and Emily Youngblood; several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. -The family requests donations be made to the 48th Brigade Family Support Group, 5019 Highway 42, Suite 203, Ellenwood, Georgia, 30294-3438; phone #678-569-5702 or 5704. -Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
