She was born April 3, 1927, in Grindstone, Fayette County, a daughter of the late John P. and Minnie Lyons Kerfoot.
Mrs. Weston was a 1945 graduate of Brownsville Senior High School.
She had held various jobs during her life including work as a secretary in the Pentagon, Washington, D.C., during World War II, and Thrift Plan Loans in Brownsville. She was secretary for Greene County Industrial Development for 16 years and owned and operated Carney's Dairy Bar in Dry Tavern.
Mrs. Weston was an active member of Rices Landing United Methodist Church, where she previously served as treasurer for three years and was a choir member for many years.
She was a member of American Legion Post 816 Auxiliary, having served as post historian, and a member of Civic Organization for Community Outgrowth.
On October 22, 1947, she married Martin O. Weston, who died January 4, 1979.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen Gregorakis and husband Jim of Canonsburg; a son, Jack Weston and wife Debbie of Dry Tavern; three grandchildren, Eric Weston, Zack Weston and John Gregorakis; a great granddaughter, Emma Jayne Weston; and a sister, Mary Jane Goswick.
Deceased is a sister, Bethel Bell.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 14, with the Rev. Ernest DeLuca officiating. Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
