The body will Lie-In-State from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the church and funeral service 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 6, 2007 at Pleasant Ridge Church with burial in Old Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hodges, AL.
Mrs. Green was born January 19, 1911 to Arthur and Ellea Dill Grissom. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Willie Sue (Billy) Compton and Vernell Green; 7 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Green and 1 son, James Green.
