ARTHUR GASH, 76, SUCCUMBS
Arthur Stanley Gash, 76, a resident of Fresno nearly all his life, died today in his home at 422 Valetia Avenue.
He was born in Missouri but came to Fresno when still a boy. He joined the United States Forest Service in 1922 and served more than 20 years before retiring.
Gash was a member of the First Christian Church.
He is survived by his widow, Edith; a son, Eugene, of Bakersfield; two daughters, Mrs. Roberta Johnson of Fresno and Mrs. Freda White of Bakersfield; a sister Mrs. Pearl Boothe of Modesto and three grandchildren.
The funeral services will be announced by the Tinkler Mission Chapel.
