Walter L. Copenhaver
LITTLESTOWN – Walter L. Copenhaver, 73, of 50 S. Queen St., Littlestown, died at home Monday at 8:30 a.m.
Born in Jefferson, he was a son of the late John and Ellen Sterner Copenhaver.
He was a member of Truth Free Will Baptist Church, New Oxford RD 3. He had been employed by Beacon Milling Co., York, until his retirement in 1965.
Surviving are an adopted daughter, Mrs. Ruthanna Miller, Littlestown; a brother, John Copenhaver, Glenville; a sister, Mrs. Blanche Beck, Littlestown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Truth Free Will Baptist Church. Friends may call Wednesday evening at Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., or Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in a local cemetery. The Rev. Lifus Rife will officiate.
