Nathaniel Greensmith died Jan. 25, 1662-3 & married Rebecca who died 1662. He was in Hartford in 1655 and HE AND HIS WIFE WERE BOTH EXECUTED FOR WITCHCRAFT AT HARTFORD...... Some of his estate was claimed by Hannah & Sarah Elson making it possible that his wife, Rebecca, was the widow of John Elson of Wethersfield whose second husband was Gervase Mudge who died in 1652. His inventory valued at 181 pounds, 18 shillings, and 5 pence.
