I'll add a little more info for my request for a re-look at the headstone for Amanda Davis.

James R. Davis, #44474772, died 10-28-1873, son of T.J. & M.M. Davis (should it be MM Davis rather than MD Davis?), age 5 mo, 8 days.  His calculated birth date then tracks back to May 20, 1873. If he was born on that date and Amanda was his mother and died a few days later on May 24, 1873 rather than 1828, it would all fit.
