FLORENCE M. DOUGLAS, of Ossian, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Lutheran Hospital. Born Nov. 26, 1905, in Allen County, she had worked for Char-King restaurant. Surviving are her daughter, Donna Degler of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Douglas, in 1961; daughter, Betty Kemp; and son, Loyal Douglas. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian. Visitation is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials to Ossian Health Care. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
