Delbert Calico Jr, 39, of Wadsworth, died Sunday June 10, 2007 in Reno. Delbert was born October 9, 1967 in Reno to Delbert Calico Sr and Virginia Otero, Delbert worked as a laborer in construction. Survivors include his mother, Virginia; brothers, Kevin Florez and Leon Calico; sister Lynnette Kelly as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Delbert Sr., a brother Gerald Florez his grandparents Annie and Brady Calico and grandmother Juanita Otero as well as his good friend "Boomer" Allen. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ross, Burke & Knobel Mortuary, Sparks Chapel, 1538 C Street, Sparks. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Nixon Gymnasium (please note change in location) with burial to follow in the Wadsworth Cemetery.
