Aug. 15, 1676 at Barnstable, Mass. almost five full months after the death of his father, Lieut. Samuel Fuller, in the King Philips War. Sgt. Samuel Fuller d. Sept. 29, 1716 at Mansfield, Conn. Seven children of the family.
The widow Elizabeth (Thacher) Fuller m. 2) July 8, 1724 at Lebanon, Conn. as his second wife, Miles Standish, s. of Lieut. Josiah Standish, Sr. and Sarah Allen. Miles, as his name is spelled in the records, was the namesake grandson of Capt. Myles Standish of the Plymouth Colony, a Mayflower passenger. Miles and Elizabeth were interrelated family. Miles' mother Sarah Allen was the sister of James Allen, whose wife was Elizabeth Partridge, the sister of Elizabeth (Thacher) (Fuller) Standish's mother Ruth (Partridge) Thacher.
Miles Standish left no estate record but died before April 1, 1728 when his real estate was distributed to his Standish siblings and immediate relatives. His widow Elizabeth was living in 1733 when it is believed she is the Elizabeth Standish who was admitted to membership of the Sprague, Conn. Congregational Church, at the within the bounds of the Town of Preston, Conn. Where she was interred remains unknown. There were no known children of this second marriage and Miles Standish had no known children by his first wife.
