Edward Myers Albert passed away last night at his home at 54 Carroll street, Westminster, following an extended illness. He was a son of the late Samuel and Sarah Myers Albert and was aged 81 years. He was a native of Pennsylvania and came to Westminster 35 years ago. He was a member and life elder of the Westminster Church of God and was a charter member of the Martha Washington Lodge, No. 14, Ladies of the I.O.M. His wife, the former Lizzie Wagner, preceded him in death. Surviving are a son, Harvey G. Albert, Carlisle, Pa., and two daughters, Mrs. Wilbur D. Gorsuch, Westminster, and Miss Mabel R. Albert, at home; also four grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mary C. Thomas, Aspers, R.D. Services for his many friends will be conducted Friday evening at 8 o'clock at the J. E. Myers, Jr., funeral home, Willia street, Westminster. Further obsequies will take place Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Plainfield Church of God, Plainfield, Pa. The Rev. Franklin P. Brose will officiate at both services. Burial will be made in the church cemetery at Plainfield.
