Elvira Bertha Lydia Klug was born October 28, 1916 in Mequon, Wisconsin to Frank
and Clara (Radue) Klug.

She became a member of the family of God and an heir of eternal life when she
was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistadt, Wisconsin by Pastor H.C.
Wehrs. Her sponsors were Lydia Ernst, Bertha Klug, and H. Bartell.

She was confirmed in her Christian faith at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistadt
by Pastor H.C. Wehrs on April 30, 1930. Her confirmation verse was Revelation
2:25, 26, & 28. It reads: "But that which ye have already, hold fast till I
come. And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I
give power over the nations: and I will give him the right morning star."

On September 4, 1937, she was married to Pastor Herbert C Buch at Trinity
Lutheran Church in Freistadt by the same pastor that had baptized and confirmed
her, Pastor H.C. Wehrs. The witnesses were Alma Reimer and Edwin Klug.

For 30 years she was a Sunday school teacher in congregations in South Dakota,
Michigan and Wisconsin where she served with her husband. She also volunteered
her time and talents at Wisconsin Lutheran Child and Family Service, Milwaukee.
Since 1998 she has been a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Waterloo,
Wisconsin.

On Saturday, September 16, 2006, she was called home to heaven after a brief
stay at Columbus Community Hospital. She was granted by our LORD a life of 89
years, 10 months, and 19 days. Her body will be laid to rest next to her that
of her husband in the cemetery of David's Star congregation in Jackson,
Wisconsin.

She is survived by:

......Carolyn Schultz and her husband Dennis of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and
......Donald and his wife, Jean, of Tomah, Wisconsin;
...9 grandchildren and
...24 great-grandchildren;
...a brother, Franklin Klug, and his wife, Evelyn of Random Lake, Wisconsin; and

...three sisters,
......Norma Schoessow of Fredericksburg, Texas;
......Loraine Boehlke of Random Lake, Wisconsin; and
......Marion Frenz of Cedarburg, Wisconsin;
...by two sisters-in-law:
......Beata Collins of Phoenix, Arizona, and
......Marian Thompson of Flint, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by:
...her husband, Herbert;
...two brothers, Edwin and Arnold Klug;
...two sisters, Esther Hilgendorf and Alma Riemer;
...two great-granddaughters, Heather Buch and Rachel Buch; and
...10 brothers and sisters-in-law.
