Mrs. Grace Gilbert Harris, a lifelong resident of the Soda Spring Community died Monday afternoon in a White Settlement hospital after an illness of three years. Mrs. Harris was born November 14, 1893 in Soda Springs and had lived there most of her life. She was a member of the Soda Springs Baptist Church for 55 years.
Her husband Corbett Harris died in 1966.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Madison Youngblood; one sister, Mrs. Elmer Martin of Mineral Wells, and one nephew and one niece, Mrs. Imogene Chestnut and Estes Gilbert both of Mineral Wells.
funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Wednesday in Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dobbs and Paul Phillips officiating.
Burial will be in Dobbs Valley Cemetery with Galbreaith-Pickard in charge of arrangements.
