COURTLAND -- David Almon Kimbrel, 74, died Wednesday night at Decatur General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Courtland Methodist Church with burial in Courtland Cemetery, Elliott Funeral Home of Moulton directing.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Edna Kimbrel, three daughters, Mrs. Alice Greenhaw, Athens, Mrs. Sue Dyar, Courtland, Mrs. Ann Evans, Panama City, Fla.; three sons, Phillip Almon Kimbrel, Town Creek, William Percy Kimbrel, Kalamazoo, Mich., Robert Kenneth Kimbrel, Decatur; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
