LITTLE SON OF VARNA PARENTS PASSES AWAY

The hearts of the people of Varna were deeply touched when the Heavenly Father saw fit to call into His fold the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Austin of Varna, Wednesday morning.

Little Warner Eugene has had a hard struggle since a babe of a few months, being ill a great deal of his life, but through good nursing and medical aid he would regain his health and his future looked favorable again and his bright and pleasant disposition won its way into the hearts of the people of the community of Varna, who were grieved to hear that his life on this earth closed just like a flower. He has delivered his message on this earth and is now in the hands of Our Father in Heaven who said: "Suffer little children to come unto Me, for such is the Kingdom of Heaven."

Warner Eugene Austin was born October 1, 1922, and passed away August 6, 1924, at the age of 1 year, 10 months and 5 days.

He was baptized when a week old and was a member of the Junior Mission Band of the Swedish Lutheran Church.

While ill a great deal of his life he had been getting along fine until a few weeks ago, when he again was taken ill while teething. He was taken to the Streator hospital and after being under the care of the nurses and doctor, he seemed to be gaining and he was brought to the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson in Varna and seemed to be as well as usual, when he suddenly passed away, death relieving him from his suffering.

Besides his mother and father to mourn his death, he leaves his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. John Austin, two great grandfathers, John Holmstrom of Wenona, and Peter Peterson of Varna, great grandmother, Mrs. S. Lundgren and other relatives who have the sympathy of the community.
