Robert Leroy Adams, 89, Venice, died March 21, 2004. He was born June 3, 1914, in Sarasota. He retired after many years as the owner of a well drilling company. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and First Baptist Church of Osprey.
Survivors include a brother, Ferman of Tampa; a brother-in-law, Denton Grant of Port Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 10am Thursday at Osprey Cemetery. Farley Funeral Home, Venice, is in charge. Sarasota Herald-Tribune (FL) - March 23, 2004.
