Betty Jo Hall Hawkins, 73, widow of Dr. James Crate Hawkins Jr., died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Anderson Area Medical Center.
She was a member of Orrville Baptist Church.
Survivors: Daughters, Melanie Lynne Hawkins Baker of Boca Raton, Fla., and Dr. Melissa Faith Hawkins Marcus of Seneca; a sister, Jeanette Mitchell, of Anderson; two grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
