She was born in Falmouth, KY, daughter of the late George Green Parsons and Sarah Elizabeth Preston Parsons. She was preceded in death by one son, James Edward Rawlings, II. Survivors include daughter, Carol Rawlings, Lexington; two sons, Scott Gale (Debbie) Rawlings, Lexington and Bruce Dale (Becky) Rawlings, Lexington; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and one brother, George Frederick Parsons.
