She was a native of Ware County and had resided most of her life in Ware County. She was married to the late James Elmer Tatum and was daughter of the late Marion Fleming "Flem" Wildes and Clara Driggers Wildes.
Mrs. Tatum was a homemaker and a member of Kettle Creek Congregational Methodist Church.
The survivors include a daughter, Montine McKinney of Anchorage, Alaska; a son, Glenn Tatum (wife Carolyn) of Waycross; six grandchildren, Sheilah Crum and Theresa MacDonald both of Fairbanks, Alaska, Dale Tatum and Tony Tatum both of Waycross, Pam Thrift of Deltona, Fla., Cindy Thomas of Folkston; 16 great grandchildren; three sister-in-laws, Jose Wildes of Homerville, Margaret Douglas and Verdie Tatum Henderson both of Waycross; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Rudolph Tatum of Waycross; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Friday night from 7 until 9 o'clock.
