Mr. Chase was a Veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army and prior to retirement, he was an Insurance Agent. He was a Life Member of Kiwanis of Stuart, a member of The Church of the Advent of Palm City, an avid gardener, and enjoyed making clocks.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Patricia Z. Chase, daughters, April West, Laura Donovan & Dorcus Boucher, step-daughter, Gail Kight, step-sons, Craig Zirkle & Glenn Zirkle, nephew, John Chase, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Lloyd Chase, Jr.
SERVICES: A Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., October 15, 2009, at Forest Hills Funeral Home Palm City, FL. A Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m., October 16, 2009, at the Episcopal Church of the Advent of Palm City, Florida with Rev. Robert Shires and Rev, George Kinard III Officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
