Thompson - Mrs. Lillie Mae "Ma", age 71, of 202 Bell Ave. [Chattanooga, Tenn.], died Sunday morning in a Trenton, Ga. nursing home. She was a member of the Baptist church. Before her retirement she was associated wuth several Chattanooga area restaurants, including Kibble's, Lacy's, and Stubby's. She was the wife of the late John C. Thompson. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Ella Wooten, Hixson, Tenn.; Mrs. Della Holloway and Mrs. Arlene Lewis, both of Chattanooga; Mrs. Paulene Gossett, Pikeville, Tenn.; and Mrs. Gladys Morgan, McMinnville, Tenn.; brother Ernest Abel, West Palm Beach, Fla.; and half-sister, Mrs. Ruth Goodwin, St. Petersburg, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild... Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. (CST) Tuesday in Ivy Bluff Cemetery near McMinnville, Tenn....
