LAURA DAVIS - A private services was held at Salas Brothers Memorial Chapel for Laura Mae Davis, 70, who died Tuesday in a Modesto hospital after a long illness.
Inurnment will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.
A native of Arkansas, Mrs. davis had lived in Modesto since 1932. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star of Oakdale, and was a practical nurse. Survivors include two sons, Don Sitton of Gentry, Ark., Kenneth Sitton of Oolagah, Okla.; daughter, Betty Lench of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters in Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
