Donald L.L. Henderson, 41, of Guide Rock died Sunday in a one-car accident east of Red Cloud.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Simonson-Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Red Cloud with the Rev. Richard Kelderhouse officiating. Burial will be in the Guide Rock Cemetery.

Mr. Henderson was born Nov. 5, 1944, at Concordia, Kan. He moved to Guide Rock in 1950 and attended Guide Rock schools. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was employed as a construction worker and truck driver and most recently operated the Henderson Service Station in Guide Rock.

He was a member of the Eagles and Elks Lodges, both at Superior, the American Legion at Guide Rock and was a volunteer fireman at Guide Rock.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Polly) Naylor of Garnet, Kan., and Mrs. Lawrence (Pam) Jones of Red Cloud; one son, Leland of Guide Rock; his mother, Darlene Henderson of Guide Rock; one sister, Mrs. Melvin (Donna) Troudt of Guide Rock; one brother, Ted of Weisbaden, Germany; and two grandchildren.
