She met and married Tom Brumett August 14, 1924 in San Antonio, Bexar, Texas, USA. There was one child born to this union; My Daddy:
============================================
- Thomas William (T.W. - "Bill") Brumett
============================================
She and Tom lived in several places in the West Texas area and finally relocated to Euless, Tarrant, Texas, USA, area and resided on Hollywood Boulevard for many years, there. Later in life, she and Tom resided in a nursing home in Irving, Dallas, Texas, USA on Shoaf Street.
I remember always feeling like the most important person in the world when visiting Granny's house. She would let me delve into her jewelry box and "dress up". It was an act that made me feel so trusted and loved. Those memories have never left me.
It always amazed me how she could, on a Saturday morning, make the simplest of breakfasts taste THE BEST! She'd make oatmeal and put bits of bacon, toast, milk, sugar, and butter in it - and, it was a veritable FEAST! :) ..and, at night: the treat was a vanilla ice cream-Coke Float in the very large tea goblets she had. She ALWAYS made me feel so special!
Most regrettably, we lost my beloved Granny on April 5, 1979. She was one of the kindest, wisest, and most reverent human beings I've ever known.
Rest In Peace, Granny. You are sorely and most sincerely MISSED.
All My Love,
