Lester FEIA and Phyllis Marie HAMMERBECK (1932 - ) were married on October 14, 1950 at the First Congregational Church in Little Falls, Morrison County, Minnesota. They later divorced.

Les Feia, Sr., age 81, St. Cloud, MN, died Sunday, November 21, 2004 at his home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at 12:30 PM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN.

Les Feia was born December 17, 1922 in Royalton, MN to Paul and Anna (Skay) Feia. As a young man, he was inspired by jazz- the popular music of the day and took up playing drums in a variety of bands over the years. His love for music never waned. Les eventually studied furniture repair and restoration and opened up business as a furniture repairman and maintained the business up through his retirement. Les was an avid golfer and fisherman in the summer months and in the winter enjoyed shooting pool. He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He was a life member of St. Cloud VFW Post #4847 and the Waite Park American Legion Post #428. Les enjoyed life and brought laughter to most settings. He made several lifelong friends and lived a decent life.

Survivors include sons and daughter, Michael Feia of St. Cloud, MN ; Linda Feia of St. Cloud, MN; James Feia of Cold Spring, MN; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Lester, Jr. on April 18, 1992, one brother, George, and three sisters, Lee, Bell and Mona.
