Word of the death of Finley Archer, 79, which occurred Thursday at Akron, Ohio, has been received here. The body will be brought here today for burial in Odd Fellows cemetery, and short services will be held at the grave at 1:30 o'clock.
Mr. Archer formerly was a resident of Marietta, and before going to the Ohio city lived in Jackson county, West Virginia.
He leaves his wife; two children, Oak Archer of New York City and Mrs. Kathryn Seeman of Akron; six brothers, Marion Arhcer of Ravenswood, W. Va., and M.H., E.E., D.Y., andd J.G. Archer, all of this city and a granddaughter, Thelma Seeman of Akron.
