Epimenio, a lifelong and well known resident of El Llano, passed away at the Española Hospital. He was survived by his wife Ciprianita; sons: Emiliano (wife Bersabé), Delfinio (wife Mary), Reynel (wife Eduarda), and Esequiel (wife Josie); daughters: Ruben (husband Pablo Pacheco), Samuelita (husband Adelaido Pacheco), Cleo (husband Eloy Martinez), Esther (husband Ralph Montoya), and Corrine (Richard Martinez); daughter-in-law Rosita (widow of José Hisa Bustos); 47 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.
A Rosary was at Block's Mortuary Chapel in Española. Funeral services were at the Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz.
