William D. Leon Jr., 18, formerly of Utica, died October 13,1957, at West Point Hospital after an illness of two months.
He was born July 8,1939, in Utica, son of Master Sgt. William D. and June Rohm Leon. He was a graduate of Kemble school and attended Utica Free Academy and also Stuttgart American High School, Germany.
Recently he was a student in Highland Falls High School. He attended Calvary Episcopal Church while in Utica.
He leaves his parents, a sister, Mrs. Marilynn Santspree, Gambrills, Md. several Aunts and uncles.
The funeral will be at 2 Thursday from Surridge & Roberts Memorial Home, with the Rev. Henry D. Smith, pastor of Bethany Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in New Forest Cemetery.
