OBITUARY: Palestine Herald-Press, Monday, 24 April 2006: Graveside services for Sara Perry Beasley, 74, of Palestine will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Roselawn Park with the Rev. Tommy Caskey officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. Mrs. Beasley died Saturday at the Hospice Home Place in Tyler. She was born Feb. 4, 1932 in Anderson County to Pearl F. Perry and Amy Foster Perry Warren. Mrs. Beasley was a member of North Jackson Baptist Church. She was a beautician and homemaker. Mrs. Beasley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leland E. Beasley, in 2004; a sister, Mary Louise Davis; and a brother, Jimmy Dale Warren. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Schmuker and husband Steven of Palestine; grandchildren, Jason Huddleston and wife Laura of Corsicana, and Keri Vaughan and husband Caleb of Alvarado; great-grandchildren, Caien and Cadyn Huddleston and Makenzie Vaughan; nieces, Jackie Thompson of Pennsylvania and Pam Strange of Montalba; nephews, Rodney McGee of Montalba, Gary McGee of Lubbock and Phillip McGee of League City; and a sister-in-law, Elsie McGee of Montalba. Pallbearers will be Caleb Vaughan, Steven Schmuker, Jason Huddleston and Joe Thompson. Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
