Mrs. Ethel M. McCorkle, 83, of Christ the King Manor, formerly of St. Michael's Terrace, DuBois and Altoona, died Sunday, June 18, 1995, at DuBois Regional Medical Center, West.
She was born Sept. 22,1911, in Clearfield County, the daughter of William L. and Mary (Snyder) Schoening. She married Merrell McCorkle. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. McCorkle was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
She retired as a licensed practical nurse.
Surviving are two sons: Jack of Rockton nnd Richard of Harrisburg; a brother, Wilson of Mineral Springs; two sisters: Myra Lee of Endicott, N.Y. and Ruth Fink of New Millport.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Mohney & Yarger Funeral Chapel.
