He was married to 1) Elizabeth Niswander (b. 18 Sep 1808, Rockingham Co., VA and d. 18 Jun 1848 at Levels, Hampshire Co., VA(now WV) 7 children. 2) Susanna Rohrbaugh, b. 24 Mar 1808 in Hampshire Co., VA, d. 09 Nov 1892 at the Beery homestead in Augusta, Hampshire, WV. Married in Hampshire Co., VA. One child: Jacob Deneal Beery b. 22 Jun 1850 d. 09 Mar 1951. Was horseback riding at 100 years of age. Died at his home in Augusta, Hampshire Co., WV of Bronchial Pneumonia, Influenza, and Prostate Carcinoma, according to WV death record. Buried at Augusta Cemetery, Augusta, Hampshire Co., WV.
